Merry Christmas! Let’s Brunch!

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas from Delray Beach Florida! Checkout the star on our tree last night!

It’s been a busy time for us here and I am sure for you as well. A few readers have contacted me and asked why I haven’t been doing more recipes recently. The reason is simple, I haven’t been cooking! LOL That changes as of today.

In earlier posts I mentioned the latest “On Trend” magazine that I found to be  inspiring. The Magnolia Journal is a quarterly from Chip and Joanna Gaines.

This Eggs Benedict Casserole is all the flavor and taste of the traditional brunch dish and everyone can sit down together- Including me!

Back at “Our Fenwick“,  I can’t tell you the number of times I made traditional Eggs Benedict for our summer guests.  This is a make it ahead recipe. I put it together last night in about 5 minutes after we got home from town. Today I just need to bake it and make the Hollandaise. About that…

When I got to the Hollandaise Sauce, I seemed to recall an easy one. I have hundreds of cookbooks but one that I return to time and time again:

And there it was! Sometimes these fundraiser cookbooks have the best recipes! Flashback to 1984. (I was in the 4th Grade.)

I can see why it was Mrs. Dwyer’s favorite. Uncomplicated and it works! I am curious about the famous Georgetown restaurant. If anyone has any ideas….. I know a few D.C. folks are loyal readers!

Best wishes for a beautiful holiday! Is anyone going to the movies today? There are many that I am excited to see!

Let me start getting the place ready for my Christmas brunch!

Today is Monday, December 25, 2017  (I love this song)
